The footprints of progress...
This is the one hectare piece of property where Ecole Evangelique de l'Amitie Monterey-Burkina Faso will be located. Currently, it is piece of farmland that is surrounded by other larger parcels of crops, as you will notice the corn field in the background, which represents the property line. Other surrounding crops include sesame, millet, and vegetables. The landscape is dotted with a mosque here and there. There is a farmer's market nearby which is very active in the springtime. Native Moore language is spoken here. However, much of the surrounding land has also been sold for housing, as the urban grow of Ouagadougou is planned to spread southward into the Bazega province and follow the highway to Ghana. The community of Doulougou is in the process of developing roads and bridges to connect the community...at the current moment the property is only accessible by foot, donkey or 4x4, but this won't be for long.

La Terre
This video is the plowing of the land to plant peanuts and beans on the land of the future site of Ecole Evangelique de l'Amitie Monterey-Burkina Faso. The crop yield will be sold and the profits of which will go directly to the construction fundraising effort
Ecole Evangelique de l'Amitie Monterey-Burkina Faso was born out of a partnership with La Cite de Dieu ministries directed by Prophet J. Nikiema who was lead by God to plant in Doulougou. The new church building which is now finished and serving parishio, is the first Christian ministry to serve this area. It is located approximately a kilometer away from the future site of Ecole Evangelique de l'Amitie Monterey-Burkina Faso campus.
